For your information we will be having an "Informational Family Night" in conjunction with the elementary and high school on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Common Core State Standards will be discussed. It will begin around 6:00pm at Tohatchi High School Gymnasium. REFRESHMENTS will be served.
Summer School
Summer School starts June 5 thru June 29, 2012 @ Tohatchi Mid School.
Monday - Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm.
Deadline: May 18, 2012 to sign your child up, current grade levels accepted are 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th.
FOCUS: Math, Writing, and Reading.

2011-2012 STUDENT DRESS CODE
Tops - polo style shirts, long or short sleeved, with collar, stripes or other patterns are allowed
White undershirt and School Spirit T-shirts supporting Tohatchi Schools on specified Spirit Days
NO RED, NO ROYAL BLUE, OR BLACK ALLOWED
Bottoms - must be a solid color of beige, tan, or khaki cotton slacks or dress pants. Navy blue pants are not allowed. Cargo style pants are also allowed, but NO saggy, baggy, or oversized pants ( pants must be worn at the waist and fit properly) NO RED, NO ROYAL BLUE, OR BLACK ALLOWED
Belts must fit around the waist, be secured in belt loops & not extend more than six inches beyond buckle.
Shoes - black and white tennis shoes or similar shoes will be allowed
Jean Days will be on Fridays. Jean Days may be cancelled if there are excessive violations of the dress code. Blue jeans will be allowed on this day, but NO BLACK JEANS or BLACK PANTS.

ENERGY DRINKS will NO longer be allowed on Tohatchi Middle School campus.
Reason:

Milligrams of caffeine or more. (Red Bull 80 mg., Amp 143 mg., Monster 160mg.)

Energy drinks contain excessive amounts of herbal stimulate, caffeine, and sugar.

Energy drinks not only can make you more alert (jittery) but can also make your heart beat rapidly. Increases blood pressure, and can affect other organs in your body.
Consequences:
Drinks will be confiscated and disposed of.
